The NEPEAN Power Triple Element AC Current Transducer detects AC currents through a wire and generates a signal which is proportional to that current. The generated signal could be analog voltage, current or even a digital output. The generated signal can then be used to display the measured current in an ammeter, or can be stored for further analysis in a data aquisition system so it can also be used for the purpose of control.
