NEPEAN Power’s Machine Watch (X0270) is a complete motor control safety system in one package. The new improved Machine Watch has increased reliability and flexibility.

Machine Watch is suitable for use with Coal Mine Auxiliary Fans as well as various other motor applications that require constant monitoring of vital functions.

Machine Watch is capable of monitoring motor vibration, temperature, airflow, gas content, voltage and current or simply plug and play with any other 4-20mA sensor.

Machine Watch will safely shutdown a motor due to unsafe conditions such as overload, undercurrent, phase rotation or phase loss.

The previous 100 trip events are stored in the history log and retained when power is removed. The internal record also keeps track of start/stop times and service run time.

Live data and history log information are available through Modbus TCP or Ethernet IP connections (when either module is fitted).

The X0287 PSU is an improved design 24V power supply that allows Machine Watch to engage an anti-windmill contactor for up to 12 seconds after power is removed. The PSU also provides a secondary output to power the 4-20mA sensors.
