The Nepean Conveyor Belt Tear is a heavy duty Belt Rip Detection System. Operated magnetically utilising the innate reliability of Reed Switches. Used to detect a belt rip in an early state to prevent further damage of the conveyor belt and structure, resulting in higher availibility of the conveyor belt and reduce replacement costs. Various trip tensions are achievable by a simple external adjustment.
